The Guess Who featuring core members Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman announced details of a U.S. headline tour, their first such trek under the moniker in 23 years. The Takin’ It Back Tour will run from June through August, with former Eagles guitarist Don Felder supporting.
After a long legal battle with their former bandmates, Cummings and Bachman reclaimed The Guess Who name in 2024. A group often described as “The Canadian Beatles” will kick off their reunion tour with previously announced dates in Canada from May 26 through June 10.
The U.S. leg opens on June 25 at the new Mystic Lake Amphitheater near Minneapolis. Additional June stops include amphitheaters in Cincinnati, Cuyahoga Falls (Ohio) and Chicago.
In July, Cummings and Bachman will bring The Guess Who to Michigan, New Jersey, New York, New Hampshire, Connecticut and Massachusetts ahead of an appearance at Ottawa Bluesfest on July 19. After a brief break, the tour continues on August 6 in Atlanta. August stops in Houston, Fort Worth, Denver, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Los Angeles and Seattle follow before the tour closes on August 23 at a festival to be announced in Vancouver.
Citi cardholders will have access to a special presale on Wednesday, March 4 at 10 a.m. local time. Additional presales follow leading up to the general onsale on Friday, March 6 at 10 a.m. local time.
