The Garcia Project are on the cusp of their Spring Tour 2024. Tickets to see the group perform classic Jerry Garcia Band shows in their entirety are on sale now via thegarciaproject.com.
Called “the DSO of JGB” by fans, The Garcia Project will perform a different classic Jerry Garcia Band setlist from a show performed between 1976 – 1995 on each night of the tour. Guitarist/vocalist Mik Bondy, vocalist Kat Walkerson, bassist Dan F Crea, singer David Alderman, keyboardist Elliot Jackson Rauch and drummer Jackson Betzen will get the tour rolling with a special two-night run celebrating 4/20 in Kansas City. Two-night ticket holders will receive a free 12×18 art poster!
The tour proceeds with stops in Minneapolis on April 24 and the Chicago Area on April 26. A run through Ohio follows with shows in Columbus on April 28, in Cincinnati on April 30 and in Cleveland on May 2.
Additionally, a special two-night run in Rochester, New York takes place on May 3 and 4 and once again, two-night ticket holders will receive a free 12×18 art poster! The Garcia Project’s 2024 Spring Tour ends on May 5 in Cohoes, New York with family and friends in the “518″ where the band started.
“The Garcia Project is a must-see for anyone who had the good fortune of seeing Jerry’s band live,” said Buzz Buchanan, JGB drummer 1977-1978. “I was lucky enough to share the JGB experience with Jerry, John Kahn, Maria Muldaur, Keith and Donna. Being on stage with Mik, Kat, Dan and the crew is the closest thing to the original. They are Jerry’s kindred spirits when it comes to making music. Even if you never saw JGB live, you can see and hear their spirit at a Garcia Project performance.”
