Terrapin Crossroads To Host Live Dead Book Signing

This Friday, October 24, Terrapin Crossroads will give Grateful Dead fans a chance to acquire a personal signed copy of photographer Bob Minkin’s Live Dead book. We’ve had a chance to preview Live Dead and we can’t say enough good things about the tome, which includes almost 40 years of Grateful Dead stories and photos by Minkin.

The book signing will take place at 4:30 p.m. on Friday at Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, California. In addition to all of Bob’s photos and stories, there’s also a forward by longtime Grateful Dead crew member Steve Parish, a preface by one-time Dead keyboardist Tom Constanten and an introduction by noted Grateful Dead scholar Blair Jackson. Yet at the heart of the volume are the many photos both from on-stage and behind-the-scenes which give a fantastic representation of what the band was all about. We even get a trip inside the Dead’s famous vault before it was moved to Southern California. Bob Minkin’s Live Dead book is currently available for pre-order here.
