Terrapin Crossroads To Host Huichica Pre-Party Featuring Eric D. Johnson, Joe Russo & More


On Thursday, June 7 Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, California will host a pre-party for the Sonoma installment of this year’s Huichica Music Festival. Eric D. Johnson (Fruit Bats) will lead the “HUICHICA Kick Off JAM” at the venue’s Grate Room and will be joined by a bevy of special guests.

Drummer Joe Russo (Joe Russo’s Almost Dead), bassist Dan Horne (Circles Around The Sun, Jonathan Wilson) and guitarists William Tyler and Cass McCombs have all been confirmed to perform with Eric D. Johnson at the event. Additional guests and “other musical surprises” are expected. Tickets are on sale now via the venue’s website.

Huichica Sonoma will take place at the Gundlach Bundschu Winery in Sonoma, California June 8 – 9. Fruit Bats, Wooden Shjips, Jonathan Richman, King Tuff, Vetiver (playing their classic covers album Thing of The Past, which is celebrating its 10 year anniversary), Tim Presley’s White Fence and Scott Law & Ross James’ Cosmic Twang are among the acts set to play Huichica Sonoma ’18.
