Watch Tenacious D Romp By The Sea In Video For Sultry ‘Wicked Game’ Cover

Last year Tenacious D shocked fans by debuting a faithful rendition of Chris Isaak‘s 1991 hit “Wicked Game” during their summer tour. The cover has become a regular feature at Jack Black and Kyle Gass‘s live shows and today The D unveiled a recorded version accompanied by a hilarious video.
Gass strips down to his tidy-whities and Black sports a leopard-printed frock as they run through the ocean in the visual directed by longtime collaborator Taylor Stephens. The new “Wicked Game” recording arrives just weeks after Tenacious D released “Video Games,” their first new original in five years.
Tenacious D will perform “Video Games” at the 2023 Video Game Awards, set for June 25 at Los Angeles’ famed Hollywood Bowl. Up first for the duo is European leg of their Spicy Meatball Tour.
