Tenacious D Expands Spicy Meatball Tour With September US Dates

Tenacious D‘s upcoming appearance at the All IN Music Festival stood as their only U.S. tour date since last Friday but that has now changed. Jack Black and Kyle Gass will bring their ongoing The Spicy Meatball Tour back stateside in September for six headlining shows in addition to the All IN set.

The September 2023 leg begins with a concert at Charlotte’s PNC Music Pavilion on September 6. Black and Gass then bring the trek to Franklin, Tennessee on September 7 before heading to Indianaplis for All IN on September 9. A stop in Rogers, Arkansas on September 11 will be followed by a swing through Texas featuring shows in Houston on September 13, Grand Prairie on September 14 and Austin on September 15 to end the trek.

Support acts will be announced soon. The new tour dates come after Tenacious D recently released new singles “Wicked Game” and “Video Games.” While the former is a Chris Isaak cover, the latter is the first new Tenacious D original in five years.
