Tedeschi Trucks Band Concludes Trip To Japan With New Song About The Country

Tonight, the Tedeschi Trucks Band completed a short tour of Japan with a performance at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo. Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi and their ensemble honored the host country with the debut performance of a song they recently wrote titled “I Love Japan.”
“I Love Japan” started a three-song encore that followed a 13-song main set. The TTB mixed material from all three of their studio albums and worked in a handful of covers including The Beatles’ “With A Little Help From My Friends” and the Derek & The Dominos classic “Keep On Growing.” Earlier this week, the Tedeschi Trucks Band shared a preview of “I Love Japan.” Watch:
