Taylor Swift made a surprise appearance at last night’s Tight Ends & Friends event at Brooklyn Bowl Nashville. Swift played her well-known hit “Shake It Off” with the help of country musician Kane Brown.
The concert coincided with Tight Ends University, a multi-day training retreat in Nashville attended by +80 NFL tight ends. San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle founded the camp, which is co-hosted by former NFL tight end Greg Olsen and current Kansas City Chiefs TE – and Swift’s partner – Travis Kelce. The concert raised funds for charities selected by Kittle, Olsen and Kelce. Swift joined Kelce on Monday night at Tight Ends University celebrations held in Nashville.
Kane Brown was expected to be the final Tight Ends & Friends performer, which also featured Luke Combs, Graham Barham, Jordan Davis and Chase Rice. Brown capped his brief set by making the announcement of a “special guest.”
Swift, whose last The Eras Tour concert occurred in December 2024, then took the stage at the 1,200-person capacity Brooklyn Bowl Nashville. Playing Chase Rice’s guitar, Swift then treated the audience to “Shake It Off,” from her album, 1989, dedicating it to her favorite players, “tight ends.”
“Will you please give it up for this amazing band, who just figured out that we were going to play that three minutes ago,” Swift said after the surprise performance. “You guys have a lovely evening. Thank you, Kane Brown.”
