Tank and the Bangas frontwoman Tarriona “Tank” Ball will release her debut poetry book, Vulnerable AF, through Andrew McMeel Publishing this June. Bell’s 112-page tome tells the true story of a past relationship she had in both verse and short prose pieces.
“Relatable and honest, with Tank’s signature mix of whimsy and realness, Vulnerable AF is about the difference between love and infatuation, the danger and confusion of losing yourself in the idea of someone else, and coming out on the other side of heartbreak with your sense of self-worth—and your sense of humor—stronger for it,” reads a description of the book.

“I wrote this book without any thoughts of them ever seeing the light of day. I was sad, I was happy, I was vulnerable with myself and I wrote every single feeling down,” explained Ball in a statement. “So here it is, my first book of poems, Vulnerable AF.”
New Orleans-based Tank And The Bangas put out an EP, Friend Goals, last fall. The EP came on the heels of the band’s 2019 major label debut, Green Balloon.
