SZA recently stopped by Sesame Street to show the gang how to make a gratitude jar and sing a song. The Grammy-winning artist teamed with Elmo, Abby Cadabby and Gabrielle for the tune “Be Kind to Me, Be Kind to You.”
SZA is fresh off her fifth Grammy win for “Saturn,” which took home the Best R&B Song at the 2025 awards. She also recently performed with frequent collaborator Kendrick Lamar during his Super Bowl halftime show. She’s now clocked another milestone in any artist’s career — appearing on Sesame Street.

Ms. SZA began by showing Elmo, Abby Cadabby and Gabrielle how to make a gratitude jar.
“A gratitude jar is a place where you can put words or pictures of things you’re grateful for,” SZA said. “Sometimes when you feel sad or have other really big feelings, it can be easy to forget the things that we’re thankful for. So the jar helps us to remember.”
