Major changes have been made by SweetWater Brewing to this year’s SweetWater 420 Fest. The lineup for the two-day event at Atlanta’s Pullman Yards April 20 – 21 has been tapered and tickets are now free with a $10 donation to SweetWater 420 Fest’s non-profit partner, the Waterkeeper Alliance.
Gov’t Mule, Grace Potter, St. Paul and the Broken Bones, Larkin Poe, Andy Frasco & the U.N. and Connor Clark & Blue Rhythm Revival will perform at the SweetWater 420 Fest on Saturday, April 20. Big Gigantic, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Papadosio, Little Stranger and Hedonistas are aboard for sets at Pullman Yards on Sunday, April 21.

“We’ve thought a lot about the direction of SweetWater 420 Fest and decided to add a hefty dose of eco-awareness and grassroots energy back into this amazing party, which will be the rager it’s always been,” stated Ty Gilmore, President of U.S. Beers for Tilray Brands. “SweetWater 420 Fest started as a free Earth Day bash, and that inspired us to reimagine this year’s event with a single-stage format, a lineup that taps into the festival’s jam and groove roots, and a significant charitable component to help the environment. It’s a win-win for everyone: our fans can see some of our favorite bands in a uniquely intimate setting for a modest donation and collectively support the Waterkeeper Alliance’s crucial work to keep our rivers and oceans clean and healthy.”
SweetWater 420 Fest was first held in 2005 in Oakhurst, Georgia. The event moved homes a few times over the years that followed before settling in at Centennial Olympic Park from 2014 – 2019 and again in 2022. SweetWater’s Atlanta Brewery hosted a smaller event last year. Beck, Slightly Stoopid, Black Pumas and Cory Wong were among the acts on the original 2024 lineup that will not perform at Pullman Yards later this month.
