Butch Trucks and Co. mixed covers of material such as “Rain” (The Beatles), “I Walk On Guilded Splinters” (Dr. John) and “Trouble No More” (Muddy Waters) with plenty of tour staples including “Blue Sky,” “Whipping Post,” “In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed” and “Midnight Rider.” Grace Potter added vocals on a cover of “The Weight,” as she had at the past two shows, but this time around there was a glorious new wrinkle. Susan Tedeschi, ABB guitarist Derek Trucks’ wife and Tedeschi Trucks Band co-leader, sang on “The Weight” as well. There were three ladies on stage for “The Weight” as drum tech Stixx Turner replaced Jaimoe on The Band cover.
