Superjam To Feature Members Of Umphrey’s, Frank Zappa Band & Digital Tape Machine

On June 8, keyboardist Joel Cummins and drummer Kris Myers of Umphrey’s McGee will team with Frank Zappa band bassist Arthur Barrow and Digital Tape Machine guitarist Marcus Rezak for a Cosmik Playground superjam at Saint Rocke in Hermosa Beach, California. Tickets are on sale now via Ticketfly.
Barrow, who played bass in Frank Zappa’s band in the 1970s and 1980s, sat-in with Umphrey’s McGee during the band’s recent performance in Los Angeles. Watch footage of a similar lineup performing “Glory” by Umphrey’s McGee at The Trip in Santa Monica back in February as captured by Rich Saputo:
