Supergroup LaMP Shares New Single ‘Some Days’

LaMP — a supergroup consisting of Trey Anastasio Band members keyboardist Ray Paczkowski and drummer Russ Lawton along with Joe Russo’s Almost Dead guitarist Scott Metzger — issued a new single entitled “Some Days.” The song is the first taste of a self-titled album Lawton, Metzger and Paczkowski will release under the LaMP moniker.
The band made their debut at Nectar’s in Burlington, Vermont in December of 2018 and then spent time early last year collaborating via email. LaMP then entered the studio late last summer and spent two and a half days recording. “Some Days” is the group’s debut single with more to come from the project.
“With the world on pause, we got to thinking about how music is so unifying during times like these, and thought now was as good a time as any,” explained the trio in a statement. “We hope our music gives you some positive momentum in the days ahead and always.” Listen to “Some Days” below:
