Sufjan Stevens Shares ‘Lonely Man Of Winter’

Sufjan Stevens shared his song “Lonely Man Of Winter.” The song was originally written for Alec Duffy, the winner of Stevens 2007 Xmas Song Xchange Contest, who retained all rights to the song.

Duffy won the contest, which Stevens requested fans to submit their own original Christmas song in exchange for exclusive rights to an original written by Stevens, by entering his song “Everyday Is Christmas.” Duffy subsequently held exclusive listening parties for a few others to hear “Lonely Man Of Winter.” Below stream “Lonely Man Of Winter” and “Everyday Is Christmas”:
