Stu Allen & Friends Trot Out ‘Wolfman’s Brother’ At Terrapin Crossroads
Those dining on brunch at Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, California on Saturday were treated to two sets from Stu Allen & The Terrapin Allstars featuring the guitarist joined by keyboardist Jordan Feinstein, drummer Ezra Lipp and bassist Brian Rashap. Among the tunes the band played at the Terrapin bar was a cover of the Phish classic “Wolfman’s Brother.”
Allen is known for his work with Grateful Dead tribute acts and his tone on “Wolfman’s” sounds like Jerry straight out of 1974. Feinstein leads the intriguing take on the Hoist classic. Our friends at Deadheadland.com captured high quality video of the Phish cover for your viewing pleasure. Watch:
