Stone Temple Pilots In Los Angeles In 2000

Last night the music world lost one of the great frontmen of the ’90s and ’00 when Scott Weiland died while on tour in Bloomington, Minnesota. For today’s Full Show Friday we remember Weiland by presenting a stellar Stone Temple Pilots show from 2000.
The video below was filmed at the Los Angeles House Of Blues in 2000, not far from where Stone Temple Pilots was formed. Over the course of two powerful hours Weiland & Co. crush material from throughout their career up until that point including such beloved hits as “Vasoline,” “Interstate Love Song,” “Plush” and “Sex Type Thing.” The concert comes to a climax when The Doors guitarist Robby Krieger comes out for a “Roadhouse Blues” encore. While the video is a bit pixelated, the audio is as good as it gets. Check it out:
