Stevie Wonder Joins Prince In Washington D. C.

Reports have surfaced that Prince and Stevie Wonder teamed up to perform together on Saturday, June 13 at a private party held at the White House. The set predominately featured Prince and his backing band 3RDEYEGIRL, with Wonder joining in on keys for part of the gig. Wonder also guested with the Purple One at his performance at the Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C.
The Washington Post reports The White House set saw Prince performing for over two hours, playing hits such as “Purple Rain” and “Kiss.” Wonder was brought on stage to perform his classic “Signed, Sealed, Delivered I’m Yours.”
Prince was in town for his most recent Hit & Run Tour stop at the Warner Theatre, performing an early and late show on Sunday, June 14. Wonder provided keyboards for his well-known hit “Superstition” at the late show.
