Steve Earle & Jonathan Wilson Perform Live On ‘eTown’

Singer-songwriters Steve Earle and Jonathan Wilson were the latest artists to perform on the Boulder, Colorado-based eTown radio program. The pair each played songs from their latest studio albums and came together for a joint finale.

The legendary Earle performed a number of songs from his latest album, Guy, a tribute to renowned Texas singer-songwriter Guy Clark, including “Dublin Blues,” “Texas 1947,” “L.A. Freeway” and “New Cut Road.” Wilson treated the eTown audience to two songs from his latest album, 2018’s Rare Birds, with “Sunset Blvd” and “Over The Midnight.” Wilson also played two tracks, “All The Way Down” and “Moses Pain,” from his 2013 LP Fanfare.

Both Earle and Wilson teamed up for a cover of Jackson Browne/Eagles’ hit “Take It Easy.” Check out all the performances below as well as onstage interviews from both artists:
