Spoon Shares ‘My Babe’ Single

Spoon continues to preview their upcoming Lucifer On The Sofa studio album with the release of the single “My Babe” and a live performance video for the track. Lucifer On The Sofa arrives through Matador Records this Friday, February 11.

“My Babe” follows previously shared Lucifer On The Sofa singles “Wild” and “The Hardest Cut.” Spoon recorded the 10-track follow-up to 2017’s Hot Thoughts in their hometown of Austin, Texas. The band tapped Mark Rankin (Adele, Queens of the Stone Age) to co-produce the new LP with contributions from Dave Fridmann and Justin Raisen.

Spoon debuted the heartfelt “My Babe” last September and included a performance of the song at Los Angeles’ Teragram Ballroom on September 28. Watch the live version and stream the studio take below:
