Soulive Announces Additional Bowlive VII Guests

As reported, Soulive will play a Bowlive residency of eight shows at Brooklyn Bowl in New York City this June after putting the run on hiatus in 2016. This week, the trio has revealed the guests for their June 14 and 15 performances at Brooklyn Bowl.

Soulive will be joined by saxophonist/producer Grant Kwiecinski, aka GRiZ, as well as R&B musician Son Little and Lettuce’s The Shady Horns on June 14. Then, on June 15, jazz guitarist John Scofield and The Shady Horns will perform with the group.

The trio has previously revealed multi-instrumentalist Karl Denson and guitarist Steve Kimock will help them kick off Bowlive VII at NYC’s Brooklyn Bowl on June 7 and guitarist Doyle Bramhall II will sit-in on June 8. Additional special guests for the run, which spans June 7 – 10 and 14 – 17, will be revealed soon.
