Summer Camp’s Solshine Reverie Enlists Goose, The String Cheese Incident & More For 2024 Lineup

Solshine: A Music & Arts Reverie presented by the organizers of the Summer Camp Music Festival announced its 2024 lineup featuring two days each of host bands Umphrey’s McGee and moe. as well as performances from Goose, The String Cheese Incident, STS9 and more. The new event will take place at Summer Camp’s home of Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, Illinois over Memorial Day Weekend, May 24 – 26, 2024.

John Summit, Big Gigantic, deadmau5, Slander, Orebolo, Mihali, Keller Williams, Big Something, lespecial, Doom Flamingo, Manic Focus and Eggy have also signed on for the inaugural Solshine Reverie. Other acts slated to play the new event include The Werks, Moon Hooch, DJ Brownie, Maddy O’Neal, Polyrhythmics, Steady Flow, Old Shoe, Allie Kral and dozens more. Additional artist announcements are expected.

The action will start on Thursday, May 23 with a separately-ticketed Pre-Party. The String Cheese Incident, moe., Manic Focus, The Werks, Steady Flow, Allie Kral, Tand and more will perform during Solshine Reverie’s Pre-Party.

Summer Camp producers announced the evolution to Solshine: A Music & Arts Reverie earlier this month. Founder Ian Goldberg shared the following statement in regards to the new event:

“The spirit and community of Summer Camp will remain, but we are excited to again push boundaries, as we did when we started Summer Camp, and expand the festival’s mission by bringing the Solshine to the forefront. Solshine had been the house of our Make a Difference program and sustainability efforts, so elevating that intentionality to the overall festival was a big part of the plan. Summer Camp had evolved into much more than a music festival, it was a community centered around music and art. I wanted to recognize that in the name by not calling it a festival but a Reverie full of music and arts, such that we all can create our experience together – and have that build intentionality in our actions once we leave.”
