Soccer Mommy served as the musical guest on Monday’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Sophie Allison brought her touring band to 30 Rock for a “Shotgun” performance.

“Shotgun” appears on Soccer Mommy’s forthcoming studio album, Sometimes, Forever, which is due out on June 24 through Loma Vista Recordings. The 11-track follow-up to 2020’s Color Theory was produced by Daniel Lopatin (Oneohtrix Point Never).

Allison was backed by guitarist Julian Powell, bassist Nick Widener, drummer Rollum Haas and guitarist/keyboardist Rodrigo Avendano on Fallon. “‘Shotgun’ is all about the joys of losing yourself in love,” explained Sophie of the lead single from Sometimes, Forever. “I wanted it to capture the little moments in a relationship that stick with you.”
