Soccer Mommy (Sophie Allison) will release a new full-length studio album entitled Sometimes, Forever on June 24 through Loma Vista Recordings. Allison previewed the 11-track LP by sharing its lead single, “Shotgun,” along with a video directed by Kevin Lombardo.

Allison tapped Daniel Lopatin (Oneohtrix Point Never) to produce Sometimes, Forever, her third studio album. The follow-up to the critically-acclaimed 2020 LP Color Theory is described in press materials as “a fresh peek into the mind of an artist who synthesizes everything — retro sounds, personal tumult, the relatable disorder of modern life — into original music that feels built to last a long time.” Soccer Mommy is currently in the midst of an extensive North American tour.

“‘Shotgun’ is all about the joys of losing yourself in love,” revealed Allison of her new single. “I wanted it to capture the little moments in a relationship that stick with you.”
