Sloss Music & Arts Festival Announces 2016 Lineup

The 2016 Sloss Music & Arts Festival will take place July 16 – 17 at the Historic Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark in Birmingham, Alabama. Organizer have revealed the lineup for this year’s two-day event.
Ryan Adams, Death Cab For Cutie, Ray Lamontagne + Friends, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals and The Flaming Lips are among the top acts on this year’s bill. Other confirmed performers include The Arcs, White Denim, Fitz & The Tantrums, Dr. Dog, Shovels & Rope, Ghostland Observatory, JR JR, Steve Gunn and several others.
In addition to music, Sloss Fest will also feature handcrafted cocktails from Redmont Distillery, a new 2016 Sloss Fest collaboration beer from Starr Hill Brewery and Trim Tab Brewing Company, and new this year’s fest, a technology-focused event presented by BBVA Compass and TechBirmingham with speakers and more. Two-day passes are on sale beginning Friday, March 4 at 10 a.m. CT at SlossFest.com.
