Sister Sparrow Releases New Single ‘Ghost’

On October 12, will release Gold, a new studio album, through Thirty Tigers. Sister Sparrow shared the first taste of Gold in the form of an “emoji-lyric video” for lead single “Ghost.”

Singer Arleigh Kincheloe, a.k.a. Sister Sparrow, tapped Carter Matschullat to both produce and co-write material for Gold. The album was recorded in Kincheloe’s home town of Brooklyn at DØØM Studio with The Dirty Birds and is said to see “Sister Sparrow expressing herself like never before” according to a press release.

“This song is inspired by that feeling when someone has rejected you but now suddenly wants you back… that drunken late-night text from an ex out of the blue. Ain’t got time for that,” Sister Sparrow said of the new single in a statement. “Ghosting someone who really deserves it is what it’s about,” “Getting even but also ridding your life of the BS that keeps holding you back.”
