Sierra Nevada Creates Zappa Wild Stache IPA Brew

Sierra Nevada received the Zappa Family Trust’s approval to create a beer “as wild and distinctive” as Frank Zappa himself. Zappa Wild Stache IPA will be available at a variety of locations. Use the Sierra Nevada Beer Locator to find a local spot. Sierra Nevada will celebrate the new brew with a special tasting event complete with a soundtrack of the late musician’s tunes.

The Pikey in Los Angeles will host the special tasting of Zappa Wild Stache IPA tonight (Friday, October 26) at 8 p.m. PT. Zappa Wild Stache IPA features a wild hop cultivated by CLS Farms “as untamed as Zappa’s musical leanings.” Sierra Nevada purchased the entire 2015 crop of the wild hop.
