Seth Avett Covers Neutral Milk Hotel’s ‘Holland, 1945’

The Avett Brothers’ Seth Avett filmed a performance of a Neutral Milk Hotel cover. Seth took to Instagram to share his rendition of NMH’s “Holland, 1945.”

Written by frontman Jeff Mangum, Neutral Milk Hotel’s “Holland, 1945” originally appears on the band’s 1998 album, In The Aeroplane Over The Sea. The album is the highly influential band’s last, although NMH did reunite to tour in 2013 through 2015. For the cover, Seth plays acoustic guitar and accompanies himself on kick, hi-hat and tambourine.
