On Tuesday, May 20 and Wednesday, May 21, Santana will return to the city in which they formed over four decades ago to perform two special concerts at The Fillmore in San Francisco. An extraordinary opportunity to see Santana live in an intimate venue, the dates come on a break in-between the just-wrapped East Coast North American leg of Santana’s 2008 “Live Your Light” World Tour and the European leg, which begins June 20.

The shows will feature the band spotlighting tracks from their forthcoming 2-CD compilation Multi-Dimensional Warrior (Columbia/Arista/Legacy). The career spanning anthology, set for release August 5, will present twenty-eight tracks personally selected by Carlos Santana. The first disc features vocal tracks, the second instrumentals. Over the course of his long and distinguished career, Santana has been responsible for ten platinum-selling albums, four of which reached the #1 spot on the Billboard Album Chart. Overall, he has sold over 90 million albums worldwide.
