Rush Residency At Las Vegas Sphere Reportedly In The Works
SiriusXM’s Eddie Trunk revealed multiple sources told him plans are now a “done deal” and could include as many as 18 shows.

Multiple reports indicate RUSH are in talks to perform a residency at Sphere in Las Vegas. The run of shows at the technologically advanced venue would likely take place in 2027.
Rush co-founding members Alex Lifeson and Geddy Lee recently launched the Fifty Something Tour, their first tour since 2015 and the 2020 death of longtime drummer Neil Peart. Lifeson and Lee have been touring with drummer Anika Nilles and keyboardist Loren Gold.
Rumors of the Sphere residency started swirling last week when Eddie Trunk mentioned the run on his SiriusXM radio show. Trunk claims he was told by a couple of reliable sources Rush’s residency at Sphere is a “done deal” for 16 – 18 shows next year.
A report in The Sun newspaper followed indicating their source revealed “talks have been secretly going on now for a while” and “the word is that contracts could be locked down in the next couple of weeks.”
If Rush plays Sphere, they’d join a list of acts who have performed at the transformative venue since its opening in September 2023 that includes U2, Phish, Dead & Company, No Doubt and the Eagles, among others.
No official announcement has been made as of press time. Rush continues the Fifty Something Tour tonight in Chicago, with dates across North America, Europe and South America scheduled through April 10, 2027.
