Rolling Stones Night For Chris Robinson Brotherhood

On Saturday, Chris Robinson Brotherhood continued a four-night stand at Great American Music Hall in San Francisco, where they debuted three different Rolling Stones covers over the course of the show.

After kicking off the show with a first set that included a cover of Bob Dylan’s “A Hard Rain’s A Gonna Fall,” Robinson and his band delivered the evening’s first Stones cover in the middle of the second set as “Hot Stuff” made its CRB debut. Chris had sung “Hot Stuff” one week prior as part of the Chris Robinson’s Soulive Revue set at Bear Creek. The tribute to the Stones continued in a big way in the encore. Up first was “Winter,” a tune off 1973’s Goat’s Head Soup and then the band ended the show with a sizzling rendition of “It’s Only Rock’n Roll (But I Like It).”
