Roger Waters Performs Pink Floyd’s ‘Wish You Were Here’ At Julian Assange Rally

Roger Waters on Monday appeared at a rally in London in support of Julian Assange. The Pink Floyd co-founder performed the legendary band’s classic “Wish You Were Here” at the event supporting the Wikileaks founder.

The rally was in London outside of the government’s Home Office immigration department. As The Irish Examiner reported, Waters called for the release of Assange, who has been imprisoned since May. Waters’ performance of “Wish You Were Here,” during which he altered the lyrics to reference Assange, can be seen below:
