Rodrigo y Gabriela Unveil ‘Electric Soul’ Single From ‘Mettavolution Live’

Rodrigo y Gabriela shared the live single, “Electric Soul.” The track is set to land on the virtuosic guitar duo’s upcoming double album, Mettavolution Live which is set for release via Rubyworks/ATO Records on October 2.

Rod y Gab culled material for the live double LP from their 2019 tour around their album, Mettavolution. The duo announced the record by sharing a live version of their ambitious guitar adaptation of Pink Floyd’s “Echoes.”

Rodrigo y Gabriela recently spoke with American Songwriter, who premiered “Electric Soul,” about the power of music. “I think music goes deeper to parts of ourselves that we don’t even know that we’re aware of,” Gabriela said. “Music can go in and touch those areas that you don’t even know that are there. It can literally heal you, light you up, transform your life in a good way, if you want it to.”
