Wu-Tang Clan, Lauryn Hill, INXS and Shakira are among the 10 first-time nominees on the 2026 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame ballot. Phil Collins, Melissa Etheridge, New Edition, P!NK, Jeff Buckley and Luther Vandross round out the 2026 class of first-time nominees.

Returning to the ballot are The Black Crowes and Billy Idol, both nominated for the second time after appearing on the 2025 ballot. Sade is also a second-time nominee, having previously been nominated in 2024. Mariah Carey, Iron Maiden, Joy Division/New Order and Oasis are each nominated for the third time.

Collins is the only 2026 nominee already enshrined in the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame, having been inducted as a member of Genesis in 2010. Phish and Maná were the only non-inducted 2025 nominees class members not nominated again in 2026. Eligibility requirements allow for nominations 25 years after an artist or band released their first commercial recording.

The annual fan vote is currently underway. Fan votes are tallied to create one additional ballot counted among the others.

The 2026 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductees will be revealed in April, along with honorees in additional committee-chosen categories: Musical Influence, Musical Excellence and the Ahmet Ertegun Non-Performer Award. The 2026 induction ceremony will take place in the fall at yet-to-be-confirmed date and location.
