Last night O.A.R. brought their The XXmas Wish List Tour to the Wellmont Theatre in Montclair, New Jersey. Fans in attendance were treated to special guest Robert Randolph sitting-in on pedal steel guitar during the show’s encore.
O.A.R. delivered a career spanning main set featuring favorites such as “This Town,” “Shattered (Turn the Car Around),” “Lay Down,” “Peace” and “Heaven.” The group honored home state hero Bruce Springsteen with a bust out cover of “Born To Run” to close the set.
Robert Randolph emerged to join in on the four song encore that began with “Anyhow.” He also added pedal steel guitar to Led Zeppelin’s “Fool In The Rain” and Bob Marley’s “No Woman, No Cry” surrounding a rendition of the O.A.R. hit “That Was A Crazy Game of Poker.”
O.A.R. performs again tonight at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York. A webcast is available via nugs.tv. Watch audience-shot highlights from last night’s collaborative show in Jersey below:
