Robert Plant & Brian Johnson Join Paul Rodgers In England

Paul Rodgers held a concert last night at New Theatre in Oxford, England as part of his Free Spirit Tour honoring his first group Free. The evening featured a sit-in by a pair of renowned vocalists as the Bad Company frontman welcomed Led Zeppelin’s Robert Plant and AC/DC former singer Brian Johnson to help out on a classic R&B hit.
Following a main set built from Free favorites such as “My Brother Jake,” “Ride On Pony” and “Fire And Water,” Rodgers brought Plant and Johnson on stage to join his band for a performance of “Money (That’s What I Want).” Johnson’s appearance came following his departure from AC/DC and retirement from performing live due to hearing damage. Since announcing his retirement in early-2016, Johnson launched the A Life On The Road television program, which LedZepNews recently reported will feature Plant on an upcoming episode.
