The Revivalists and The Head and the Heart’s co-headline run rolled into the Skyline Stage at the Mann Center in Philadelphia on Wednesday. The bands have teamed for some joyous joint performances of The Revivalists’ “Kid” during their time together and that trend continued in the City Of Brotherly Love.

“Kid” appears on The Revivalists’ new album Pour It Out Into The Night. After opening with “Criminal” off their 2014 record City Of Sound followed by Men Amongst Mountains’ (2015) “It Was A Sin,” The New Orleans rockers reeled off three songs from Pour It, “Down In The Dirt,” “How We Move” and “Don’t Look Back.” Additional favorites included “Keep Going” and “All My Friends.”

The Revivalists delivered “Kid” as the penultimate song of their set. Frontman David Shaw led the group through the beginning of the tune before being joined by The Head and the Heart’s Matt Gervais on vocals ahead of a spirited collaborative conclusion to the Pour It Out Into The Night favorite.
