New Orleans rockers The Revivalists kicked off the Against All Odds Tour on Wednesday night at Jannus Live in St. Petersburg, Florida. The band focused on road-tested originals and then ended the concert with a tribute to the late Tom Petty.

David Shaw & Co. opened with “You & I,” one of two songs played in St. Petersburg debuted since the 2015 release of Men Amongst Mountains. “Got Love” was the other “new” original The Revivalists fit into their performance in St. Pete. The seven-piece treated last night’s audience to many fan-favorites including “Criminal,” “Stand Up,” “It Was A Sin” and “Catching Fireflies.”

The Revivalists brought Wednesday’s 13-song main set to a close with Men Amongst Mountains’ biggest hit, “Wish I Knew You.” For the encore, the group performed “BTBD” off 2012’s City Of Sound and “Fade Away” from their latest album before they said farewell with a cover of “Refugee” by Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. Tonight, The Revivalists continue the tour at the House Of Blues in Orlando.
