Matchbox Twenty continued celebrating the 30th anniversary of their debut album, Yourself Or Someone Like You, with a performance of “3AM” on Wednesday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live. The late-night appearance followed Monday’s full-album performance at Los Angeles’ Fonda Theatre and Tuesday’s announcement of an extensive 2027 tour.

The anniversary extended to the Kimmel stage design, which incorporated a spray-painted “30” and a band logo with “30” replacing the “BO” in “MATCHBOX TWENTY.” For their musical selection, the group reached back to one of the signature songs from the 1996 record.

Monday’s Fonda concert marked Matchbox Twenty’s first-ever performance of Yourself Or Someone Like You in its entirety, played in tracklist order. According to setlist.fm, the album portion included the first “Busted” since 2003 and six songs last performed in 2017.

The band dug even deeper after finishing the album. “Tired” and “You & I & I” returned for the first time since 1998, while “Heavy” resurfaced for the first time since 2008. Matchbox Twenty also revived “Don’t Let Me Down” for its first performance since 2003.

The newly announced 30th Anniversary Tour spans the U.S. and Canada from May 15 in Birmingham, Alabama through August 12 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, October 23 at 10 a.m. local time.
