While Rush celebrated their 40th anniversary in 2014 with the release of a box set, they didn’t play any shows in honor of the occasion. Guitarist Alex Lifeson had been hinting that Rush would tour in 2015 and it appears that’s exactly what will happen.

The sleuths at Rush Is A Band (via Ultimate Classic Rock) report that two dates recently appeared on primary ticketing sites -June 23 at TD Bank Garden in Boston and June 29 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Both shows have been pulled from those sites since the time of Rush Is A Band’s initial report.

Lifeson previewed the tour with this exciting quote earlier this year, “We want to try and play different material this time. I’ve always wanted to do some rarer Rush material, and this should be a good opportunity to do that. I also think it’s going to be a long tour. We just need to stay healthy until then.” There’s still no official word on the tour from Rush as of press time. Stay tuned!
