The CBS late night schedule will be shaken up in a big way next year as both David Letterman and Craig Ferguson are stepping down from The Late Show and The Late Late Show respectively. Stephen Colbert is taking over the 11:35 p.m. time slot for Letterman and James Corden is taking over the 12:35 a.m. slot from Ferguson. A familiar face in the jam scene will be Corden’s bandleader.

Musician/comedian Reggie Watts will lead the Late Late Show band as per Deadline.com. Jam fans may remember Watts as a one-time Soulive singer who’s also performed with The Motet, among other bands from the scene. He also stars as the house bandleader on the IFC television series Comedy Bang! Bang!. Corden’s version of Late Late Show is set to premiere on March 23.
