Red Hot Chili Peppers Confirm Apollo Theater Concert For SiriusXM
The band will make its debut at the famed New York City venue on September 13.

Red Hot Chili Peppers will celebrate the recent launch of a SiriusXM channel by making their Apollo Theater debut on Tuesday, September 13. The invitation-only concert at the historic New York City venue is part of SiriusXM’s Small Stage Series.
SiriusXM’s Whole Lotta Red Hot airs on channel 315 as well as on the SXM app on its website. Additionally, the satellite radio service will devote channel 105 to Whole Lotta Red Hot between Thursday, September 1 and Friday, September 30. The quartet’s Apollo Theater concert will be broadcast on Whole Lotta Red Hot.
“During our long-standing relationship with the Apollo Theater, SiriusXM has brought many of music’s most significant artists to their historic stage for the very first time, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers are no exception,” explained Scott Greenstein, SiriusXM’s President and Chief Content Officer, in a press release. “The Red Hot Chili Peppers are one of the most definitive bands in rock music that continue to innovate the genre with their musical craftsmanship and we are honored to present them as they make their debut at the Apollo Theater.
