Rauw Alejandro Welcomes Laura Pausini For 1st Live ‘Se Fue’ Collaboration In Milan

Rauw Alejandro continued his Cosa Nuestra Tour in Milan, Italy on Sunday (June 29) with a concert at Unipol Forum. The Puerto Rican musician brought out Italian vocalist Laura Pausini to duet on “Se Fue” towards the end of his third of four acts in Milan.

The trek takes its name from Alejandro’s 2024 album, Cosa Nuestra. Rauw Alejandro enlisted Laura Pausini to collaborate on the LP’s “Se Fue,” a reworked version of a song that scored the Italian superstar a hit in the ’90s.

Originally released in her native Italian as “Non c’è” in 1993, Laura Pausini issued the song in Spanish, under the title “Se Fue,” the following year. “‘Se Fue’ was one of my first international hits, and for me, the greatest gift is knowing that a song I recorded almost three decades ago still connects with so many people today. It has stood the test of time because the feelings behind it are universal,” Pausini told Billboard.

“Singing ‘Se Fue’ for the first time on stage with Rauw Alejandro, in front of his fans in Milan, was magical and so much fun,” Pausini shared with Billboard regarding the collaboration. “I think he’s an incredible entertainer, I truly adore him, and I love this version of the song! I felt so proud and excited to see how a new generation connects with a song that has meant so much in my career. It reminded me why I work so hard to create and select my songs, because once they touch someone, they never really go away… they just keep finding new hearts to live in. That’s the power of music.”

“Se Fue” was among 11 tracks from Cosa Nuestra performed by Rauw Alejandro in Milan. The Latin Grammy-winning singer also sprinkled tunes from throughout his career into the 30-song setlist.

Rauw Alejandro continues the European leg of his Cosa Nuestra Tour tonight (Wednesday, July 2) in Paris. Stops in Madrid, Lisbon and Barcelona follow. The South American portion of the jaunt is set for October with a swing through Mexico scheduled for November.
