Legendary singer-songwriter Randy Newman appeared on Monday’s Tonight Show: At Home Edition hosted by Jimmy Fallon. Newman played “Dear Mr. President (Have Pity On The Working Man)” at his home in Los Angeles for The Tonight Show.

“This is a song I wrote back in the Pleistocene era,” Newman quipped as an introduction before adding, “But it’s become relevant again.” Randy then went on to perform the song from his 1974 album, Good Old Boys. Randy Newman’s visit to Fallon came a few months after he released “Stay Away,” a PSA of sorts written while quarantining.
