Railroad Earth, Leftover Salmon and Keller & The Keels :: 7.14.17 :: Red Rocks Amphitheatre :: Morrison, CO
Jamgrass acts Railroad Earth and Leftover Salmon co-headlined the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado on Friday night. Keller & The Keels opened the evening with a set that included takes on “Uncle Disney,” “Pepper,” “They Love Each Other” and more. Williams and The Keels brought out Andy Thorn of Leftover Salmon and Tim Carbone of Railroad Earth for a cover of The Doors’ “Roadhouse Blues.”
Leftover Salmon’s set featured a number of collaborations. Larry Keel joined in on “Troubled Times” and “Funky Mountain Fog Down,” while a handful of the evening’s performers including Keller, Carbone and Andy Goessling lent a hand on “One Of These Days.” Railroad Earth brought the show to a close with a 12-song set. Keyboardist Matt Slocum sat-in on the entire set as the band mixed classics such as “Long Way To Go,” “Mighty River” and “Colorado” with material off the just-released Captain Nowhere EP including the live debut of the title track. Photographer Jeremy Williams was on hand to capture the action:
