Radiohead Performs ‘Glass Eyes’ For 1st Time In North America

By Andy Kahn Apr 10, 2017 7:36 am PDT

Last year, Radiohead issued their ninth studio album A Moon Shaped Pool. Last night, the band performed a show at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon where they performed a song on the album live for just the third time.

Radiohead opened Sunday’s concert with the customary trio of A Moon Shaped Pool tracks, “Daydreaming,” “Desert Island Disk” and “Ful Stop.” The set then progressed with career-spanning selections such as “Airbag,” “15 Step,” “The National Anthem,” “Everything In Its Right Place,” “Weird Fishes/Arpeggi,” “Nude” and others.

The first encore began with the Radiohead’s first North American performance of the A Moon Shaped Pool rarity “Glass Eyes,” which had only been played by the band twice prior. The encore also featured “No Surprises,” “Burn The Witch,” “Reckoner” and “Lotus Flower.” Frontman Thom Yorke and the band returned for a second finale featuring “You And Whose Army?” and “Creep.”
