Queens of the Stone Age canceled and/or postponed the rest of their 2024 tour dates. The decision was made to allow frontman Josh Homme to “prioritize his health and to receive essential medical care throughout the remainder of the year,” the band wrote.
QOTSA previously scrapped a July tour of Europe as Homme needed to fly to America to undergo emergency surgery. August festival performances were canceled later.

Four headlining dates and three festival appearances have been affected. Queens Of The Stone Age will make up the headline shows in 2025. New dates for the concerts in Boston, Cincinnati, Chicago and Madison (Wisconsin) will be announced.
Queens Of The Stone Age were set to perform on September 29 at Connecticut’s Soundside Music Festival, October 6 at Memphis’ Mempho Music Festival and November 17 at Corona Capital Festival in Mexico City. Jack White has been added to the 2024 Mempho lineup as QOTSA’s replacement.
Homme’s medical ailment remains undisclosed. The singer/guitarist was diagnosed with cancer last year but came through a successful surgery last year. “I’m good. I’m all clear,” Josh Homme told ITV News in November of 2023 and added he was feeling “the best I’ve felt all year.”
