Queen Forever | Unreleased Freddie Mercury Tracks

Queen guitarist Brian May sat for an interview on BBC Wales this past Friday in which he revealed he’s working on a new compilation that will probably be called Queen Forever. May came across previously unreleased Queen tracks from the ’80s featuring vocals from the late Freddie Mercury and hopes to unleash the compilation by the end of the year.

The guitarist told BBC Wales the material on Queen Forever will mostly come from the ’80s, “when we were in full flight.” He went on to say, “It’s a compilation but it will have this new material on which nobody in the world has ever heard and I think people will really enjoy it. It’s the big, big epic sound. It wouldn’t have been if we hadn’t have done this restoration job. We only had scraps, but knowing how it would’ve happened had we finished it, I can sit there and make it happen with modern technology.” May describes the Mercury vocals as “beautiful.” We can’t wait to hear them.

May doesn’t just have the compilation to work on as members of Queen will soon embark on a tour with Adam Lambert.
