Pro-Shot Video: Umphrey’s McGee Expands ‘Draconian’ To 20 Minutes In Missoula

Last Saturday night, Umphrey’s McGee concluded a two-night stand at The Wilma Theatre in Missoula, Montana. Umphrey’s McGee teamed with TourGigs to stream the show as part a series of 12 West Coast webcasts. Today, UM and TourGigs have shared video of one of the highlights from this past Saturday night.

Umphrey’s McGee debuted “Draconian” on May 1, 2015 at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas during their Raw Stewage quarter. The song combines the “Jimmy Stewart” improvisations first played by the band as part of “Eat” on October 30, 2014 and “In The Kitchen” on June 19, 2014. The 20-minute version of “Draconian” laid down last weekend in Missoula was UM’s seventh ever rendition of the composition which features lyrics from Brendan Bayliss. It came towards the end of the first set ahead of the “Partyin’ Peeps” that closed the opening stanza.
