Pro-Shot Video: The String Cheese Incident Shares ‘Way Back Home’ Sequence From Red Rocks 2016

On July 15, 2016 Colorado’s own The String Cheese Incident kicked off a three-night stand at the historic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado. Today, in advance of this year’s visit to Red Rocks, SCI has shared pro-shot video featuring a highlight from last year’s opener at the venue.
In the video below, captured by nugs.net, Cheese works a one-timer into the jam vehicle “Way Back Home.” The song starts innocently enough but around the 6:30 mark Michael Kang leads the group in an intriguing direction. Kang’s mates soon follow along and embark on what currently stands as SCI’s first and only cover of “Everybody Wants To Rule The World” by Tears For Fears. SCI would go on to finish “Way Back Home” after treating fans to a rendition of the ’80s hit which was sung by drummer Michael Travis.
